Associate Director of Development - Alumni, Friends, and Annual Giving

The Associate Director of Development – Alumni, Friends, and Annual Giving position is responsible for advancing the mission of Montana Technological University and the Montana Tech Foundation. Reporting to the Vice President of Development and Philanthropic Engagement, this position is accountable for designing and executing strategic efforts that strengthen alumni and friend relationships, inspire pride in Montana Tech, and grow annual philanthropic support from alumni, friends, parents, industry and community members.

As a frontline ambassador of Montana Tech pride, this position manages a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy and supports the Foundation’s annual giving program. This includes overseeing events, volunteer engagement, donor communications, and digital fundraising campaigns and sponsorship—all with the goal of building lasting connections and increasing broad-based support for the University.

Office Administrator

The Office Administrator plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for staffing the Foundation’s front desk during scheduled office hours and serving as the first point of contact for the public. A professional, welcoming presence and excellent customer service are essential, as the Office Administrator represents the Foundation to all external constituents.

This role supports overall office functionality through the coordination and execution of administrative processes, office operations, and select financial tasks. The Office Administrator ensures the smooth running of the office and supports the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
